  • HS-F 3000

The automatic processing cycle ensures extremely fast and reproducible results. Milling parameters optimally adjustable to material grades, combined with a variety of application matched tools, ensure the maximum degree of flexibility
    SAFE AND OPERATOR-FRIENDLY
The HS-F 3000 is sealed and sound-insulated. Safety circuits guarantee protection for the operating personnel. Milling swarf is collected in a removable collecting tray. Easy machine set up due to operator friendly interfaces developed for the operation in chemical laboratories.
MILLING SPINDLE WITH AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGING SYSTEM
The precision milling spindle can be fitted with milling cutters for a wide variety of steel grades. The automated tool changing system allows the machine with up to six different tools without the need for operator intervention.
The extremely sturdy spindle bearings allow safe, sustained processing of even the hardest material grades. A third axis for highest requirements in sample surface preparation and for deburring of oval, square, round and double thickness samples.
  • HAF/2

Automatic Sample Preparation For Spectral or X- Ray analysis: By means of the automatic fine surface milling machine HAF/2 the sample preparation of non – ferrous samples for spectral or X-ray fluorescence analysis is possible.
OPTIMAL FOR PROCESSING OF NON-FERROUS METALS
The HERZOG HAF/2 is suitable for all sample shapes ( e.g. mushroom shaped, cylindrical, retangular, etc.) and different dimensions up to a diameter of 70 mm.

The HAF/2 is equipped with a automatic cross feed with fine speed control. After the completion of the milling process the cross slide is raised automatically to prevent any damage to the sample surface. The tool revolving speed may be adjusted to different materials to obtain optimum surfaces.

The machine itself is fitted with a special cutter head with 7 tungsten carbide tips or diamond tips. For handling large numbers of samples with constant dimensions a fully automatic milling machine, model HN-F, is available.
  • HS 200

HS 200 is a manually operated swing grinding machine for grinding of pig iron and steel samples.

The HS 200 are offers compact design, easy handling in combination with various mounting possibilities due to table execution. The HS combines sensitive grinding by easy running swinging arm and ample application by manually or power operated clamping devices.

The HS enables reproducible surface grinding by strong column and swinging arm mounted in taper roller bearings.

The design of the HS 200 is focused on low noise and dust generation levels with a minimum of maintenance required. It is suitable for wet and dry grinding.

The design of the machines correspond to the current German accident prevention and VDE regulations. We reserve the right to make technical changes.
  • HAG-M-HF

The HAG-M-HF is the table-top machine for the manufacture of melt fusion beads for X-ray fluorescent analysis. The HAG-M-HF is the economic solution with a host of advantages:
    inexpensive
    Safe and easy to use
Can be set up flexibly and easily at any location
Simple supply of utilities via electrical, water and compressed air connections
    SIMPLE PROGRAM CONTROL
8 programs with individual parameters sets for the fusion process like flexible setting of melting temperature sequence up to 1300°C and preselectable temperature for casting dish. Melting and cooling times can be individually set.

Homogenization of the melt by a program-controlled rocking movement.
  • HTP 40 / HTP 60

The HERZOG pellet press HTP offers the full benefits of program-controlled sample preparation for x-ray fluorescence analysis.
Pelletizing with the HERZOG HTP significantly increases reproducibility and accuracy of sample preparation.
The HTP is fully encapsulated, insulated against noise, and has safety cutouts for operator protection. Dust and noise burden are reduced, and safety enhanced.
The HTP pellet press is a high-quality, precision engineering product with compact dimensions. It is ideally suited for laboratory requirements.
    OPTIMUM QUALITY OF PRESSED PELLETS
The HERZOG hydraulic HTP press produces high-quality pressed pellets with a mirrorlike surface necessary for optimal XRF results. The HSM achieves the desired homogeneity and stability of each individual pellet with a maximum of reproducibility.
The HTP 40 reaches press forces of 400 kN, the HTP 60 of up to 600 kN even with larger sample diameters.
  • BENCHTOP-PRESS TP 20 E

The TP 20 E is the bench-top laboratory press for easier and more efficient preparation of pressed pellets for XRF analysis. The semiautomatic TP 20 E produces perfect pellets at the press of a button.
IMPROVED OPERATOR COMFORT – INCREASED EFFICIENCY
The pressure is built up automatically using a hydraulic aggregate instead of a hand pump. This means significant reduced physical workload, more comfortable working conditions and efficiency enhancement for the operator.
EASY TO USE – SAFE TO HANDLE
The sample material is filled into the press tool manually. The operator inserts the press tool in the machine and closes the safety input/output flap. The machine will not start until the flap is closed.

By pushing the ‘start’ button, the piston moves out until it achieves its maximum pressure force of 200 kN and the motor stops. The hydraulic system keeps the pressure until the operator pushes the ‘stop’ button to let the piston move backwards.

For safety reasons it is not possible to open the input/output flap during the complete process. The flap is released as soon as the piston is retracted completely. Then the press tool with the pressed pellet can be removed and the machine is ready for the next sample.
